Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of New Glasgow is accepting tenders from qualified contractors for its 2024 Capital Paving/Concrete Curb (Project # TNG24-PW-013). The Town of New Glasgow will require strict compliance with the specifications and will require that the contractor provide highly skilled work crews. Estimated Duration of Contract (months) 4 Should you require any additional information, please direct inquiries to the Engineering office at 902-755-8351, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. The Town of New Glasgow is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for its employees, visitors, contractors and subcontractors in accordance with the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act and related Regulations. All contractors including prime contractors, general contractors, service contractors, subcontractors and consultants are obliged to comply with the Contractor Health and Safety Program. The Contractor Health and Safety Program define responsibilities for all workplace parties. Prior to commencement of work, a pre-job meeting may be held with the contractor(s) to ensure OH&S safety orientation requirements.
