This Invitation to Tender consists of janitorial services on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure at Bathurst Justice Complex, 254 St. Patrick Street, Bathurst, NB, for a period of two (2) years from August 1, 2024 until July 31, 2026 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods in one (1) year increments upon written agreement by both parties. Contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bid which meets the requirements detailed within the attached Specifications for Items 1 and 2 of the tender documents. Prior to Contract award, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may consult with other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendor's past performance within the previous two (2) years. Results from the aforementioned consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendor's bid. The Minister may make an award to the preferred vendor conditional on the negotiation and acceptance of a detailed contract between the Province and the vendor. In such cases, should the detailed contract negotiations not be completed in a reasonable period of time, the Province reserves the right to discontinue negotiations with the vendor and subsequently enter into negotiations with the second preferred vendor. No right or duty, in whole or in part, of the vendor under a contract issued may be assigned or delegated without the prior consent of the Strategic Procurement Branch.
