Deschutes Market Road/Tumalo Road: 19th Street to Tumalo Place. Tumalo Road is an east-west rural collector and Deschutes Market Road is a north-south rural arterial. Both roadways provide access to US 97 north of Bend. This corridor has seen a significant increase in traffic due to Deschutes Market Road being frequently used as a bypass to communities east of Bend. Four County- maintained bridges also exist along the project segment, which are exhibiting isolated approach settlement warranting full-depth repair. The Class of Work of this Project is Asphalt Concrete Paving and Oiling. The project is included in the county 2025-2029 Road Department Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 16, 2024, project is funded for construction 1st Quarter 2025-2nd Quarter 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. The value for this Contract is estimated to be between $430,000 and $530,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Install and maintain temporary traffic control.
Perform full-depth pavement repair at bridge approaches and in travel lanes.
Perform cold plane pavement removal.
Recondition existing bases.
Construct new asphalt concrete pavement.
Install permanent pavement markings.
