Renovation of a parking garage in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to invite Proposals from professional, qualified, and experienced firms for the provision of construction management and construction services (collectively, "Construction Management at Risk") for the Workspace Optimization Project - Phase 1 and Phase 2. This project involves tenant improvements to approximately 12,000 square feet of multi-purpose space at Deer Lake 1, 4946 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC, V5B 0A7. The space will accommodate a coffee service area, lounge, community meeting rooms, administrative offices, and activity rooms. The anticipated construction budget is $3 million. The Construction Manager will provide their Construction Management expertise and comprehensive understanding of CM at Risk methods to assist the owner, the City of Burnaby ("City"), through Phases 1 and 2 of the Workspace Optimization Project, as identified in this RFP. The existing spaces to be renovated are located inside Deer Lake 1. Preferred Phase 1 includes Suites 210 and 220 on Floor 2 and Room L53 on Floor 1 (see appendix E). Preferred Phase 2 includes Suites 205, 208, and 215 on Floor 2. Documents can be obtained from https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award amount was not released for publication.
