Renovation of a multi-residential development in New Milford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The Town of New Milford (Town) request proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional, administrative and technical services with broad management responsibilities for the ADA renovations at Butter Brook Apartments. The project goal is to monitor the progress of construction, process and maintain daily administrative paperwork, and to work with contractors to ensure project completion for the ADA renovations at Butter Brook Apartments. Question Submission Deadline:July 15, 2024, 8:00am All questions related to this Proposal shall be submitted in writing through Electronically. Question Response Deadline:July 18, 2024, 5:00pm The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions. The Town reserves the right to revise any part of this RFP by issuing an addendum at any time prior to the submittal deadline. Addenda notifications will be emailed to all persons on record through the procurement portal as following this RFP. After withdrawing a previously submitted proposal, the responding firm may submit another proposal at any time up to the deadline for submitting proposals. Each proposal shall be considered binding and in effect for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing date. A pre-proposal conference is not a requirement of this RFP. Based upon the outcome of this process, The Town will award contract for the duration of the Butterbrook Rehabilitation Project. Proposals must be valid for ninety (90) days. Proposals submitted may be reviewed and evaluated by any person(s) considered necessary to the decision making process at the discretion of The Town of New Milford. The clerk must have a good understanding of all aspects of construction and relevant Connecticut building codes. Technical skill in any particular construction trade is not necessary. The clerk must maintain a holistic view of the project, while appreciating the details of various parts of the work. The clerk must not attempt to fill the role of the design team, construction manager/general contractor, construction superintendent, safety officer, or any other member of the building team. The following outline describes the general extent of services to be provided.
