The Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC) also known as IndyGo is seeking proposals from all qualified individuals, organizations, firms, or other entities, whether for-profit or not-for-profit, to provide trash and recycling services at IndyGo facilities. IndyGo is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide trash, recycling, and disposal services for several of its facilities within the Indianapolis metropolitan area “services”. Some facilities will not require management of both waste streams. These facilities are specified on the bid offer cost form. The contractor must furnish all labor, trash dumpsters, and recycling containers (dumpsters and containers) will be referred to as “containers”, transportation and equipment necessary to collect, haul and dispose of trash and/or collect, haul, and process the recyclable materials placed in containers at the locations and frequencies specified on the bid offer cost form. It is the policy of the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC) that business enterprises certified by the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Development (OMWBD) as MBE, WBE, VBE, DOBE and The Indiana Department of Administration’s Division of Supplier Diversity certified as an MBE or WBE shall have the maximum feasible opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts. The owner has established the following percentage goals for diversity participation on non-federally funded projects, based on the contract price as awarded to the successful bidder: MBE: fifteen percent (15%); WBE: eight percent (8%); VBE: three percent (3%); DOBE: one percent (1% IPTC reserves the right to withdraw this solicitation at any time in the process prior to contracting upon notification to all vendors by post via Bonfire. If such action is taken by IPTC, no vendor will have a claim for recompense.
