Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Kewanee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Kewanee is hereby seeking bids for the following project: Francis Park Improvements Project work to include but is not limited to: Trail improvements including removal, shaping placement of rock and hard surface paving of approximately 4,000' of trail; existing playground removal and preparation of surface for new playground equipment. This project is being financed, in part, with federal funds administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the approved project, and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. As per 820 ILCS 130/1, prevailing wages will be required for this project. All questions shall be answered by issuing addenda no later than July 12th , 2024, at 3:00 PM.
