Snohomish County will complete a seismic retrofit of Larson Road Bridge #101. Larson Road Bridge #101 was built in 1962 and is a two lane 304-foot long three span bridge that carries Larson Road over the South Lough Stillaguamish River east of the Silvana community. Larson Road is classified as a Minor Collector Rural Road with an ADT of 2979 for 2022. The bridge is on a seismic lifeline route. This project is funded by Federal Highway Administration administered under Washington State Department of Transportation Local Programs. Estimated start date: September 20, 2024, and end date December 31, 2026 Scope and Nature of the project: The Department of Public Works seeks to hire a consulting team to provide the following: Review of seismic analysis and concept design report Perform engineering to evaluate the seismic retrofit requirements, refine and develop alternative design concepts. Review, compare the preferred alternatives. Bridge structure design and engineering for seismic retrofit PS&E through 100% complete design Field investigation Drawing and permit support Bid Support Additional services as listed in the RFQ document.
