The Souhegan Cooperative School District (District) is seeking qualifications from Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms having recognized expertise in design of science classroom renovations in K-12 public schools. Other disciplines may be required to complete design and renovation needs including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural. Interested firms must be licensed to conduct architectural services in the State of New Hampshire. The basic design phase services shall include: Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bid Documents, Construction Administration support of the Contract, and Project Closeout The goal is to have a completed conceptual design report submitted to the District by October 15, 2024. The District reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities or to accept the firm(s) who the District in its sole discretion determines is in the best interest of the District even if the proposal is not the lowest cost proposal. The District reserves the right to make an award based solely on the proposals or to negotiate further with one or more A&E firms. The A&E firm selected for the projects will be chosen based on the greatest benefit to the community. The District will negotiate fee-based services for each portion of the project after selection of an A&E firm. Proposals submitted past the deadline date and time will not be accepted. Proposal submitted that are not in the proper form may be rejected.
