Annual Pavement Works for Towns of Tisbury, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, W. Tisbury, Chilmark and Aquinnah. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Each bidder must be pre-qualified with Massachusetts Highway Dept. for work. Only per-qualified bidders may receive a bidding package. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days, after the date set for the opening thereof. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39S. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
