Last Day to Submit Questions Friday, July 5, 2024 By 4:30 PM Additional information may be obtained by contacting: Taylor Dacus, Senior Management Analyst Administrative Services Department 2929 Tapo Canyon Road Simi Valley, CA 93063 tdacus@simivalley.org (805) 583-6727 Estimated Award Date / City Council Meeting August 5, 2024 Estimated Contract Start Date August 6, 2024 The City's, Administrative Services Department, is soliciting bids to provide Maintenance and Servicing of the City's Access Control, Video Monitoring Systems, and Alarm Monitoring Services, Specification No. SV 24-30 ("Maintenance and Service"). The selected Contractor shall provide routine maintenance and service for the City's security systems, including preventive maintenance and cleaning, monitoring service, support for controller software, and ad hoc servicing or equipment replacement ("break-fix") in the event of equipment damage or failure. The City's security systems include devices and access points at nine (9) locations throughout the City. The City intends to enter into a contract with a Contractor for three (3) years, with an option to renew one (1) additional two (2) year term. When deemed necessary by the City, bid bonds must be furnished by all bidders in the amount of at least 10% of the bid to guarantee that bidders will enter into contract to furnish goods at prices stated. Likewise, a Performance Bond must be required of the successful bidder when stated in the specification (cash deposit, certified or cashier's check or money order may be substituted in lieu of either bond).
