The Project includes the following Work: Erosion control, grading, culvert work, base aggregate dense, boardwalks, concrete curb ramps, asphalt pavement, permanent signing, pavement marking, restoration, finishing items, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 30, 2027 and final completion date is October 29, 2027. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or cashier's check. If after 15 days from the date the contract was awarded, the bidder shall fail to execute and file the proper contract and bond, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The project is federally funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation - Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). Federal Wage Rates apply. DBE requirements of Wis DOT 49 CFR part 23 for this project is Discretionary. All required documentation shall be submitted at the bid opening Commitment to prime contractor performance of at least 30 percent of the original contract amount is required. County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Furthermore, County reserves the right to cancel any order or contract for failure of the successful Contractor to comply with the terms, conditions and specifications of the request and/or contract. County reserves the right to award this request to the Contractor whose bid is overall the most advantageous to the County in the County's sole determination.
