Site work for a water / sewer project in Kermit, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 23, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Contract #1 - Waterline Replacement. Installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of waterline, together with all necessary appurtenances and surface restoration. Contract Times (Calendar Days) Substantial / Final Payment 60 / 90 The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Town of Kermit in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. The Town of Kermit reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
