The work consists generally of construction including: Removal and disposal of existing playground equipment at Washington, Westside and Jesmond Dene Parks, pick up new equipment from City facility located at 455 N. Quince St., Escondido, CA 92025 transport and deliver to each park. Installation of new equipment including play structures, swing sets and custom equipment. Furnish all necessary equipment labor and materials for installation per manufacturer recommendations. The City reserves the right to reject any bid that does not follow the exact procedures provided in this Notice. Purchase and install playground wood fiber chips as described in the bid schedule. Note: ALL PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN PURCHASED BY THE CITY This contract allows sixty-five (60) working days. The Prime Contractor on this project shall have a ""Class A"" contractor's license from the State of California. The Prime Contractor shall perform 51% or more of all contract work. The prime or subcontractor shall be certified in playground equipment installation. All questions shall be submitted by 5 p.m. one week prior to the bid opening.
