Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saugatuck, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project includes milling 1 1/2 " of HMA along portions of Francis Street, Griffith Street, Mason Street, and Lucy Street within the City of Saugatuck. Approximately 800 tons of HMA will be used to top the milled surface. The project also includes placing underdrain, curb and gutter replacement, HMA valley gutter replacement, HMA spot patching, surface restoration, and all related work. The HMA millings shall be delivered to the City of Saugatuck DPW yard located at 3338 Blue Star Highway, Saugatuck, MI 49483. The work for this project shall be coordinated with the City of Saugatuck TMF Water Service Material Verification contract, which will commence in the Summer/Fall of 2024 throughout the City of Saugatuck. The work for the City of Saugatuck TMF Water Service Material Verification contract will include potholing the existing water main and curb stop boxes along the project limits and adjacent to the project limits. Potholing work for the TMF Water Service Material Verification Contract shall occur along the roadways within the project limits prior to the paving operation for this contract. Coordination between the two contracts shall be conducted as to not interfere with the operation of either contract The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The City of Saugatuck reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Saugatuck.
