Tails N Trails Parks - Drive & Parking Improvements The project consists of constructing the following: Removal of existing vegetation, signage, wood fence. Remove and stockpile existing road gravel. Construction of a new HMA parking lot on new 21AA gravel, storm drainage infrastructure, concrete sidewalk, regulatory signage, hydrant relocation, mulch trail, native seeding, restoration seeding, and trees. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from Saugatuck Township General and Parks Funds. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Saugatuck Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter. Once construction commences the contractor must reach substantial completion in 8 weeks or by September 30, 2025 whatever comes first. The last day an addendum will be issued is three (3) business days prior to the bid.
