Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saugatuck, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and 23,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes the construction of approximately 4,200 feet of watermain along with associated water services on Maple Street from Blue Star Highway to approximately 300 feet south of North Street. It also includes placing approximately 200 feet of storm sewer, approximately 23,000 square feet of new sidewalk along the west side of Maple Street, an underground storm water detention system, retaining walls, and miscellaneous sanitary improvements along Maple Street. The work consists of reconstructing the west lane of Maple Street, crushing and shaping the east lane, and paving with approximately 4,800 tons of HMA, along with all associated work. Additional work includes steel sheet pile seawall repairs, concrete sidewalk replacement, earthwork, concrete patching, drainage improvements, asphalt resurfacing, turf restoration, traffic controls, and related work at various other locations in the City of Saugatuck. The project will also include a mill and fill on Mary Street from Water Street to Butler Street.
