The Town of Lexington seeks sealed proposals from qualified developers for the development of 100% affordable rental housing on a 3.1 acre parcel shown on the Lexington Assessor's Map 68 as Parcel 44, located on Lowell Street near the northeast corner of North Street and Lowell Street in Lexington, MA. Any conveyance of the property issued in response to a successful bid must be approved by the Select Board. The Select Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Select Board reserves the right to cancel the conveyance or to not sell this parcel if doing so is in the best interest of the Town. The purpose of this request for proposals ("RFP") is to select a developer with demonstrated
experience and capacity to acquire and carry out a development project on Parcel 68-44 that best
addresses the needs and goals of the community as described in this RFP. The most advantageous
proposal, from a responsive and responsible proposer, taking into consideration all evaluation
criteria set forth in the RFP, will be selected. It is the intent of the Town to convey this property to
