Work consists of all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of existing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related architectural systems. Work also includes all necessary hazardous materials abatement. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgment must also be submitted at the time of the bid. A performance, labor, and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. This is a State assisted contract. The contractor must comply with the requirements as specified herein. The deadline for RFIs is October 8, 2024 at 4 pm Additionally, any subcontractor working for a General Contractor whose work exceeds $1,000,000 must also be prequalified with the DAS as per C.G.S. 4b-9l (j) This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including set-aside (twenty-five percent (25%) SBE and six and one-quarter percent (6.25%) M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO.
