Renovation of a detention facility in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT This project consists of removal of existing two single doors and three double doors in the compound and install two single doors and three double doors in the compound. The doors, frame, jambs, and installation must meet current BOP Technical Design Guidelines for strength and security. The locations of these doors are as follows: 1. Housing Unit K-A, double door 2. Special housing (SHU), double door 3. Food Service, double door 4. Housing Unit M-A, single door and 5. Food Service, single door PLACE OF PERFORMANCE FCI Danbury 33 Pembroke Road Danbury, C 06811.The contractor will have ten (10) calendar days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed to begin work. The contract period will be in effect from the date of award to no later than thirty (30) days after Notice to Proceed.
