The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Bath Renovation at our Cobblestone 108 IRA located at 108 Cobblestone Ter, Newark, NY 14513 This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Location: 108 Cobblestone Ter, Newark, NY 14513 DESCRIPTION: Bathroom Remodel. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Bathroom Renovation), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Follow the Design provided. 2. Provide and install all materials for this remodel. 3. This project includes epoxy flooring which must be installed by a qualified installer with five years experience verified by the manufacturer. 4. Remove existing toilet, toilet and bath accessories, mirror(s), casework, miscellaneous plumbing fixtures and other accessories completely. Prior to disposal, coordinate with House Director for any items that may be salvaged. 5. Remove and replace the entire floor system, down to the existing floor joists. Examine substrate and conditions. Replace all damaged or deteriorated wood as requires, including any damaged or deteriorated floor joists. Do not proceed with installation until conditions are corrected. Provide and install two (2) layers of 3/4 " marine-grade plywood subflooring, glued and screwed to floor framing. 6. The transition to the hallway may have a maximum differential of 1/2 inch to ensure an ADA compliant transition. 7. Provide and install new resinous flooring system with integral base as per "Specification Section 096726 Quartz Flooring" attached. a. Color: As selected by House Director. 8.
