The Wythe County Board of Supervisors ("WCBOS") is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide grading, tree removal, and installation of gravel access road and parking lot 1. Kents Lane, Wythe County Virginia. 2. Lampkins Road, Wythe County Virginia. The WCBOS intends to construct two free kayak portages, a "put in" and a "take out" at Kents Lane and Ramsey Mountain Road in Wythe County Virginia, as per a grant award from the Virgina Outdoor Foundation (VOF). The scope of construction services include: tree removal, grading of the land, gravel access road and gravel parking. Bidder accepts the provisions as to liquidated damages: If the project is not substantially complete within the 30 calendar days of the notice to proceed, the contractor shall be penalized at a rate of $250 per day until substantial completion is achieved as decided by the County Engineer.
