Natrona County is seeking a well-qualified and experienced construction materials testing firm to perform standard observations and testing during the construction and completion for the new Casper Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) Facility. Candidate will perform construction material testing on behalf of the owner to ensure materials adhere to construction document and specifications. These tests shall include, but are not limited to, soils density and trench bedding testing, foundation installation observation, concrete testing, asphalt or concrete flatwork testing. The Owner is expecting the firm to have the ability to conduct inspections such as: earthwork compaction rebar inspections for drilled piers and foundations concrete inspections for drilled piers, foundations, slab on steel deck, and exterior concrete full time inspection while drilling piers structural steel testing and inspections additional inspections as required in the contract documents For Construction Materials Testing services for the one story, 35,000 sf new facility at 12th and Conwell Streets in Casper, Wyoming, to be operated by the Casper-Natrona County Health Department. All respondents accept the conditions of this RFP, including, but not limited to, the following: o All submittals shall become the property of Natrona County and will not be returned. o Late submittals shall not be evaluated. o Any restriction as to the use of submitted materials must be clearly indicated as proprietary. o The requested limitation or prohibition of use or release shall be identified in writing on a cover sheet. Blanket claims of proprietary submittals will not be honored. Cost proposals will be considered proprietary. o The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals based on being unresponsive to this RFP or for failure to disclose requested information. o The County shall not be liable for any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation of submittals and proposals nor in costs related to any element of the selection and contract negotiation process. o Any agreements entered between the parties shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming. The parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Natrona County, Wyoming, and waive any right to object to any proceedings being brought in these courts. o Respondent shall obtain any local and State permits required for the project and provide proof to the County.
