Site work for a water / sewer project in Branchport, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The contract generally consists of the installation of approximately 6,500 ft of HDPE watermain using primarily directionally drilled methods, 40 water services, and 10 new fire hydrants in the Keuka Park Water District. The work includes all associated backfill and surface restoration required as a part of the work along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. A pre-bid conference is not being held. Bidder questions can be submitted through the website. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. The Town of Jerusalem reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any and all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
