The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to remove existing concrete sidewalk, concrete retaining wall, curb and gutter, pavement, and subgrade; prep subgrade, place and compact top course, construct cement concrete curb, gutter, and ADA compliant curb ramps; reconstruct drive approaches; install brick sidewalk pavers and patch asphalt; install new trees, tree planters and improved irrigation; and replace existing light pole with decorative historical light pole. The project will be composed of Schedule "A"; Kittitas County Courthouse Sidewalk Improvements, Schedule "B" Kittitas County Modular Block Retaining Wall, Schedule "C" Alley Access Reconstruction, and Schedule "D" Street Tree/Tree Well Restoration. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineer's estimate for the project is $260,000 to $320,000, plus tax (if applicable).
