Reference number : 20004861 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-07-15 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 4 The Municipality of Mille-Isles is requesting bids for the following work: The spraying of asphalt on the Pont Bleu hill over an estimated distance of one thousand four hundred and twenty (1,420) linear meters; Spreading and compacting crushed stone and correcting the final road level over a distance of approximately 2,847 meters representing approximately 8,117 tons of MG-20; The asphalting of approximately 2,847 meters of road representing approximately 3,097 tons of asphalt; The connection of seven (7) private asphalt entrances representing approximately 35 tonnes of asphalt; Spreading and compacting crushed stone on the shoulders of roads after asphalting approximately 2,847 meters of roads representing approximately 985 tons of MG-20B. The work must be carried out in two phases, the first of which will be between August 15 and September 31, 2024, for the raising of the Pont Bleu and the patching of various municipal roads. The second phase, which includes the paving of Chemin des Huards and Chemin du Vallon, is conditional on the approval of a borrowing by-law by the Ministère des Affaires Municipales et de l'Habitation. The Municipality will begin the administrative steps to obtain this approval as soon as this contract is awarded. The bidder must hold an RBQ license in the category "General Contractor 1.4 Roads and Pipelines". The Municipality reserves the right to have the work carried out in whole or in part and does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and does not incur any obligation towards the tenderer(s). The Municipality does not incur any liability towards the tenderer as a result of this tender. The Municipality is not required to accept a compliant tenderer whose tender indicates a price higher than the market price or the cost estimate. Delivery schedule The work must be carried out in two stages, namely: 1st stage between August 15 and September 31, 2024 for the climb of the Pont Bleu and the patching up of the Edwise, Scraire, Carole, Anger and Black paths; 2nd stage following the Municipality's notice scheduled between October 1 and 31, 2024 for Huards and Vallon roads. For this stage only, the Municipality will notify the successful bidder in writing of the date on which the work can be carried out. However, this notice must be sent before October 31, 2024, otherwise the successful bidder will not be required to respect the maximum deadline of November 15 and must agree on another date for the completion of the work with the Municipality.
