Renovation of a residential development in Adams, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Remove existing 300 MBH boiler, and near boiler piping and accessories. All existing zone distribution piping, boiler fill piping, and air-removal / expansion tanks to remain. Remove existing power venter, and combustion air-intake duct, sealing buildings openings to match surrounding structure. 2, New, 155 MBH input, high-efficiency, direct-vent, sealed combustion air boilers, each sized for 2/3 of the total load, and piped in parallel to the existing distribution systems. All new boiler-loop HWS-HWR piping, valves, and specialties, vent and combustion air piping, condensate pumps and piping, and all accessories and controls required for a complete and operating system. Extend existing gas to each boiler, with a new quarter turn gas valve and 6" drip leg. Estimated Cost $54,000. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. Question Deadline 07/11/2024
