The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in accordance with this specification and scope of work in the manner called for, and to the satisfaction of the State Highway Administration. Vendor supplies their own trash bags, minimum size of 35 gallon. Vendor to use best practices established in the service industry to perform this work. All work to be done in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and MOSH regulations and standards. Vendor's vehicle shall be licensed, registered, and insured. Workers will wear ANSI Class 3 outerwear. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: o Contractor shall provide the administration a total number of full litter bags collected and disposed of daily. This shall be kept in a logbook and provided to the administration as needed. o Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including debris, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, tires, metal, etc. o Includes the removal and clearing of debris from inlet grates along the shoulder. o No animal carcasses will be the responsibility of the contractor. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Contractor should have a minimum of 1-year experience in providing similar services. The duration / term of the contract will be for one (1) year or less if contract funds are depleted. The contract written with the successful bidder will be for the successful total bid amount that does not exceed $50,000. LOCATIONS OF WORK: MD 272, North and South, MP 12.22 (US 40) to MP 20.67 (PA Line), in Cecil County.
