Solicit proposals for the expansion and partial renovation of SBCFPD Fire Station 18 in Hartsburg, Missouri. o Increase District Apparatus parking space. o Apparatus Bay Extension: o Add approximately 15 ft. of under-roof storage from the front, or South-facing, wall of Apparatus Bay, for the positioning of District apparatus and equipment. Specific conditions of the construction include the following. o Removal and replacement of existing concrete approach apron on the South side of the building. o New concrete foundation and floor under the new expansion. Floors are to be a minimum of 8"" and capable of supporting apparatus in excess of 35,000 pounds. o Floors prepared to install drain(s), tying in to the existing system. o Install a new concrete apron from State Route A, to the new construction, appropriate for vehicle weight and finished appropriately. o Wood truss roof construction, matching pitch and size of the existing structure. o 2x6 wooden frame walls, inside ""pole barn"" style construction to match the existing structure. o Roof of prefinished, ""through fastener"" metal, similar to existing, to cover the entire apparatus bay, not just the extension. o Wall exterior of prefinished, ""through fastener"" metal, similar to existing. Existing wall siding can be removed and reused the west side of the building, so as to allow new siding is used on the East side, as to present the best appearance to the public. o 12 ft. inside height, 12 ft. width commercial apparatus bay doors fitted, with appropriate powered operation and 2 remotes for each door.
