Requests for interpretation or clarification of the bidding Documents shall be made in writing to the Purchasing Office (wwpur@muni.org) All proposed Work for the Pump Station 2 Generator Improvements Project is located in Anchorage, Alaska, as shown on the Drawings. The Work included in this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the Work set forth in the Plans, Specifications, and terms of the Contract successfully. The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract consists of Contractor completing the Pump Station 2 Generator Improvements to include installing Owner furnished generator, load bank, transformer, and salvaged fuel storage tank; furnishing and installing reinforced concrete slabs, steel platforms with stairs and railings, electrical, fuel piping and valves, remote fuel tank level monitor, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. Additionally, the work includes clearing and grubbing; site grading; and furnishing and installing geotextile, classified fill and backfill, fencing, bollards, and topsoil and seeding. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to prepare the bid so that all materials and working arrangements harmoniously conform to the intent of the Contract Specifications and Special Provisions.
