Background -Webb County initiated a Roof and Building Envelope Survey for the Webb County New Sheriff's Office and Parking Garage. The report dated March 6, 2024 was prepared by Armko Industries, Inc. The purpose of the report was to identify problem areas on the roof areas, parking garage surfaces, and exterior vertical wall areas. The scope of work described below is based on the recommended solutions to these areas. Scope of work - Webb County is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the renovations to approximately 13,000 square feet of PVC roofs at the Webb County Sheriff's Office located at 1002 Farragut Street. The main scope of work includes removal of all existing roof equipment (except those identified as "new") and existing TPO and insulation, as well as, the installation of new insulation, cover board, and PVC roof. The work also includes the removal and replacement of sealants at panel joints and new metal copings where required by the plans. The scope of work shall include all materials, labor, equipment, local building permits, and traffic control required to provide the requested scope of work described above, in the construction documents, as well as, under Section five (5) and under Section 2.5 Bid Proposal form. See attached plans and detailed specifications for more information on scope of work. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in bid proposal form. The estimated construction budget range is $300,000.00 to $500,000.00. This document outlines the requirements, selection process, and documentation necessary to submit a formal CSP.
