This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) aims to identify and contract with a qualified and experienced Design Professional to perform ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES for a proposed new up to 54-unit residential development on a mostly vacant portion of land (will require removal of 1 storage building) on the property known as Poinciana Plaza (Parcel ID 00054250-000000), located at 1671 Dunlap Drive, Key West, FL. The Key West Housing Authority (the KWHA) is a municipal agency created under F.S. 421. The KWHA owns and manages 590 public housing units, 535 deed-restricted affordable housing units, and 46 licensed assisted living units and administers 287 housing choice vouchers. The KWHA's mission is to provide safe, secure, and quality affordable housing solutions to citizens of the community in a manner that promotes the self-sufficiency of low-income families and meets the needs of moderate-income families in the local workforce. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) aims to identify and contract with a qualified and experienced Design Professional to perform ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES for a proposed new up to 54-unit residential development on a The KWHA reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ Response Packages, waive any informality(s) in the RFQ process, and award any party considered to be in the best interest of the KWHA.
