Bid Bond 5% The FKAA reserves the right to reject all Submittals where the FKAA deems rejection to be in its best interest, or to reject any Bid/Proposal not in compliance with the specifications. The FKAA reserves the right to waive any informalities and irregularities in said Submittals. The proposed Project generally consists of furnishing all material, labor and equipment for the installation of a pre-manufactured water distribution pump station, emergency generator, and miscellaneous site improvements at the Marathon Pump Station Site (Mile Marker 49.9+/-). The work includes individual platform construction for both the pre-manufactured water distribution pump station and emergency generator. The work also includes the installation of interconnecting piping from the existing 3.0 million gallon (MG) potable water ground storage tank to the new pre-manufactured water distribution pump station; pre-manufactured water distribution pump station discharge piping to an existing 12-inch water main on Overseas Highway; and all associated civil, mechanical, structural, instrumentation & control, and electrical work completed, tested and ready for operation, all in conformance with the Drawings and Specifications. The project work also includes the demolition of the existing 0.50 MG potable water ground storage tank abandoned septic tank, and other miscellaneous items related to the construction of the proposed project. The existing potable water distribution pumping station must remain in operation until the new system is substantially complete, tested, and released for operation by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
