Civic Center Renovation. The City of Schulenburg, Texas is seeking Competitive The Scope of Work entails interior renovations including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; and limited site work. Selection and scoring criteria of the proposers will be based on: 1. Proposal Price 2. Current Work Load and References 3. Completed Projects of Similar Type and References 4. Project Management Ability and Team Experience 5. Supplemental Bid Form - Subcontractors 6. Contract Time A 5% Bid Bond and a 100% Payment and Performance Bond are also required. Bids may be held by the City of Schulenburg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The Project includes, but is not limited to; miscellaneous site demolition work and new sidewalks, demolition of the entire interior including the gypsum sheathing on the exterior walls, some HVAC systems demolition and replacement and ductwork. The existing restroom shall be demolished and replaced with new ADA compliant restrooms. New HVAC system and electrical systems are specified. New exterior doors and frames, stained concrete floors and new suspended ceiling are a part of the scope of work. Question Deadline 07/25/2024 No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Architect no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Each interpretation made will be in the form of an Addendum to the contract documents and will be distributed to all parties holding contract documents no less than three (3) days prior to the bid opening.
