The work is described by the project plans and the specifications herein. 1.02 Description A. Base Bid The work for the Base Bid includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major work and contract items: 1. Mobilization. 2. Temporary erosion and soil control measures. 3. Disconnect all electrical, heating and cooling services, storm and sanitary utilities, and any additional utilities to the EMS building and garage. 4. Demolish and remove the existing EMS garage. 5. Demolish and remove the existing EMS building and attached breezeway. 6. Demolish and remove the existing concrete sidewalk connecting the EMS building to the USGS side entrance. 7. Remove the existing asphalt pavement and subbase material while allowing full right of way access. 8. Place and prepare new 2A stone subbase, 6 depth, in preparation for future asphalt pavement to be done by others. 9. Topsoil and seed all damaged soil after demolition and construction.
