Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: The Project consists of right-of-way improvements including milling and resurfacing, ADA ramps, and drainage. The Project also includes a Joint Participation Agreement ("JPA") with the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department ("MDWASD") for the installation of an 8-inch water main, fire hydrants, and water services. The Contractor must secure all necessary permits to construct the Project, including but not limited to, a Traffic Loop Permit from Miami-Dade County and a Utility Permit from the City of Miami. Contractors shall provide separate bids for the roadway work and the water main work. Watermain work shall be funded by JPA with MDWASD. If the total watermain work bid items are over ten percent (10%) of the MDWASD estimate, then MDWASD has the option to reject the bid alternate and perform the work with its own forces. Funding for watermain work will be released after satisfactory inspection by MDWASD. Additional information concerning the Scope of Work can be found in the Construction Drawings. Minimum Requirements: Prospective Bidders shall comply with, and submit proof of, the following requirements by the Bid Due Date: 1) Have a current Certified General Contractor ("CGC") license from the State of Florida for a minimum of five (5) years AND have a minimum of five (5) years' experience under its current business name. The City reserves the right to request additional/supplemental information and/or contact listed individuals pertaining to Bidder's ability to meet the above minimum requirements Written questions must be submitted through online by 5:00 p.m. on July 19, 2024. Late questions will not be considered. The City of Miami reserves the right to accept any Bids deemed to be in the best interest of the City, to waive any minor irregularities, scrivener's errors, omissions, and/or technicalities in any Bids, or to reject any or all Bids and to re-advertise for new Bids, in accordance with the applicable sections of the Florida Statutes, the City Charter and Code, and this ITB.
