Bidders Shall Submit Questions No Later Than 2:00 P.m. Monday, July 15, 2024. Questions or Comments Will Not Be Acknowledged After This Time and Date. The Time of Completion (Performance Period) for This Project is 45 Working Days. All Bids Shall Be Submitted on the Prescribed Bid Forms and in the Manner as Stated in This Advertisement and in the Project Manual and Said Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the Form of a Cashier's Check, Postal Money Order, or Surety Bond to the City of Stanwood in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. If a Surety Bond is Used, Said Bond Shall Be Issued by a Surety Authorized and Registered to Issue Said Bonds in the State of Washington. The Bond Shall Specify the Surety's Name, Address, Contact and Phone Number, and Shall Include a Power of Attorney Appointing the Signatory Of the Bond as the Person Authorized to Execute It. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into the Contract and Furnish Satisfactory Performance Bond Within the Time Stated in the Information for Bidders, the Bid Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Stanwood. The City of Stanwood Reserves the Right to Accept the Bid That Is in the Best Interest of the City, to Postpone the Acceptance of Bids and the Award of the Contract for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days, or to Reject Any and All Bids Received. Subject to the Foregoing, the Bid May Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder.
