Project consists of demolition of existing flooring, ceiling grid and tiles, lighting, and HVAC ducting as determined by contractor to be able to furnish and install new elements. MEP is Design Build (DB) as described below, other construction elements described in ORW documents. Contractor is responsible for all items of demo and renovation as described in this ITB and documents provided from ORW titled G0000, A0021, A0202, A0302, A0552, A0601, A0802, A0901 and A1153 attached to the end of this ITB (Exhibit 1) and available for download on the Jackson County website. All Bids received which are in proper form will be opened publicly by the contracting agency immediately after the deadline for submission of Bids. At that time, the County may take various actions including, but not limited to, selecting the winning Bid, rejecting all Bids, or postponing any such action for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks from the opening, during which period the Bids will be irrevocable. Jackson County may reject any Bid noncompliant with any prescribed public Bidding procedure(s) and/or requirement(s), and, in its sole discretion, may reject for good cause any or all Bids upon Jackson County finding that it is in the public interest. Any questions or issues regarding specifications, Bidding process, and/or award process shall be directed only to Contact Person designated above The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all Bids. Additionally, a Bid not accompanied by a required Bid Security or by other data required by the Bidding Documents, or a Bid, which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection
