Demolition, site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Lytton, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Reconstruction of various community facilities that were lost in the 2021 Lytton Creek wildfire. Indigenous Services Canada's (ISC) Emergency Management Assistance Program is a key partner in this project. It is desired that the construction of the proposed facilities be completed by 2028. For the purposes of developing a proposal, assume that that there will be 4 facilities planned and reviewed including: Band office approximately 22,000 sf and to include a Council chambers and offices Community Hall approximately 11,000 sf and include a community kitchen, storage with capacity for 300 - 500 people Cultural Centre approximately 5000 sf and to include cultural gatherings Housing Field Office Might be a modular solution. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for the provision of feasibility and architectural services for the conceptual planning, is closed. Award is pending. Finalization of Engagement Report and Feasibility Study - February 2025. Further update in early summer 2025, upon approvals.
