Stein water system intake improvements. Key improvements identified in the feasibility study include: New intake from the Stein River, New reservoir, New slow sand filter cell, Back-up power on infrastructure components required for operation (including automatic transfer switch and consideration of future electrical requirements) A third pump bay at Booster Pump #2 and Booster Pump #3 for future pump placement, Two new fire hydrants along Highway 12. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further update in late spring 2026, upon approvals.
