Site work for a water / sewer project in Lytton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to select a CONTRACTOR to supply and install a new sewer main and associated works on River Road between 1st Street and the Sewage Treatment Plant. A new 250mm PVC sewer main will replace the 200mm VCT sewer main. The sewer main is approximately 4.2 m deep at 1st Street and River Road and approximately 1.2 m deep at the last manhole before the sewage treat plant. The 200mm VCT sewer main will remain active during installation of the new sewer main. Associated work will include: Replacement of a portion of the existing 450mm storm sewer main; Repair of the existing road structure between 1st Street and the Sewage Treatment; Installation of an additional fire hydrant. A new 150mm watermain along the River Road alignment was completed in 2023. The fire hydrant will be installed at the end of this main.
