Question Deadline 07/21/2024 at 10:00 PM CT Overview: The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a qualifed contractor to; Furnish & install materials needed to re-route sump vent pipe through room (Scope of Work document Page 2 - 4), Sealing Hatch Door (Page 5), and adding a seal off on the sump pump power/control conduit (Page 6). RFB FY2025 #003 Scope of Work document is found on the Attachment tab. Scope: Provide materials and labor to complete work identified in Overview as per specifications as identified in RFB FY2025 #003 Scope of Work document (Attachment tab). Provide relevant submittals for all requested materials. You may attach these to your bid or by submitting via e-mail to Kyle Williams. Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders as work performance and work capacity. Estimated start date- 08/01/2024 (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 9/30/2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids).
