Renovation of a residential development in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Project: Roof Replacement at 21 & 25 Maddigan Way. Roof replacement at two buildings with single gables - one four and one six unit in length Stripping existing roof to deck, replace underlayment, shingles, ridge vent, drips, and diverters. The base bid work is estimated to cost $43,000.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Middleborough Housing Authority TIME OF COMPLETION In accordance with Article 9 of the General Conditions, the Work shall start as stated in the Notice to Proceed and shall be complete within 30 consecutive calendar days. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK A. The work under the Contract consists of: 1. Demolition of existing roof covering materials including shingles, roof felt, flashing and boots. Installation of all roofing materials according to the drawings and current building codes and installation of rainwater diverters. 2. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done.
