The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide a complete array of professional Architectural and Planning Services for 10-year Master Planning for CCBC. It is anticipated that this project will require a special combination of team disciplines to be included in the proposal due to the required scopes of work. Should anything in the RFP be unclear as to scope or intent it is incumbent on the proposer to submit questions to the Purchasing Administrator named above in writing (by email) on or before 4:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 to obtain clarification on the unclear topic(s). The college will make every effort to provide responses to all questions posed by close of business on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. A College Evaluation Committee will score the proposals as described in Section 4.1. Finalist proposers will be advised on or about August 15, 2024 of further questions to be addressed in an interview by the committee and Team oral presentation. Your firm must be available during the week of August 26, 2024 for the interview.
After the interview/oral presentation, the proposers that remain susceptible for award will have their Price Proposal opened on or around August 28, 2024. The Director of Purchasing and the project managers will either accept the fees submitted in the financial proposal or negotiate a fee for the project, which will be presented to the Board of Trustees of the Community College of Baltimore County and any other required authorities for approval. Alternate firms are selected in case an agreement cannot be finalized with the first-choice firm. Initial or contingent award is made by the CCBC Board of Trustees and ratified by State agencies subsequent to the local award. The projected, but estimated, contract award date is September 25, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
