Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

The Scope of Work includes removal of Bridge No. 3720003 on Lockhart Road over Logan Branch. A new single span bridge will be constructed in the same location. The work includes bridge removal, excavations, steel pile, bridge construction, roadway embankments, new asphalt pavement. and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Franklin County anticipates issuing notice to proceed in the summer of 2024. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the 2023 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. No Second Tier Subcontracting will be allowed.
