Solicitation packets are available at the following website: at online DEADLINE FOR PRE-BID QUESTIONS: August 13, 2024, 5:00 PM MST All questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted by e-mail to EACH of the following: o Joe Cohen, Project Manager, jcohen@cybermesa.com o Clinton Peterson, City of Santa Fe Water Department, cdpeterson@santafenm.gov o City of Santa Fe, Purchasing Division, purchasing_ITB@santafenm.gov The general Scope of Work is as follows: Improvements to flocculation and sedimentation components of the Canyon Road Water Treatment Plant (CRWTP), located at 1780 Upper Canyon Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following scope items: o demolition of existing clarifier equipment (tube settlers, launders, sludge rakes, etc.); o structural additions (concrete slabs within each clarifier, flocculation walls, bifurcation walls within each clarifier; inlet splitter boxes, walkways, and settled water channels); o new flocculation and sedimentation equipment (vertical paddlewheel flocculators, lamella plate settlers, and hose less residuals collectors); o all associated power, controls, process and chemical piping, and valves; o a new flocculation MCC electrical building with associated grading and paving, including potable water yard piping relocation, and all associated instrumentation, electrical, architectural, and HVAC design components as required for proper function; o residuals blowdown pump replacement; o a flocculation aid polymer system; o repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work; o incidentals for a complete and usable plant. Additional details of the Work are described in the Drawings and Specifications. The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the contract documents. Note: By submitting a bid for this project, the Bidder hereby acknowledges and assures the City that it has sufficient experience in constructing this type of work and therefore is familiar with all combinations of materials, labor, and equipment that are required for the successful completion of this project. The Work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the contract documents which may be necessary for the complete, safe and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be provided by the awarded Contractor at no increase in cost to the City: o Contractor shall be responsible for adherence to the Contract documents, specifications and approved directives and change orders. o Contractor shall be responsible for permits, fees, and requirements of the City of Santa Fe, State of New Mexico, New Mexico Environment Department, US Forest Service, and US Army Corps of Engineers. o Contractor shall be responsible for verifications of all existing conditions, measurements, and dimensions. Bidder shall provide a detailed summary of the scope of equipment supplied for each flocculation package (per Section 46_41_32 of the Contract Specifications) as well as a clear identification of any discrepancies or deviations from the Contract Specifications. Bidder shall include an anticipated timeline for Submittals, fabrication, and installation of this equipment. Bidder shall provide a detailed summary of the scope of equipment supplied and individual cost for each sedimentation/sludge collector package (per Sections 46_43_76 and 46_46_02 of the Contract Specifications) as well as a clear identification of any discrepancies or deviations from the Contract Specifications. Bidder shall include an anticipated timeline for Submittals, fabrication, and installation of this equipment.
