As of August 21, 2024, project was awarded to Top Line Construction Co, Base bid $113731 + alternate bid $39,397.97 = $153,129.29 The Myrtle Avenue Extension And Youngs Road Resurfacing Project. The Work To Be Performed Under This Contract Includes A Base Bid For The Resetting Of Existing Castings, Installation Of New Inlet Castings, Approximately 3,000 Square Yards Of Hot Mix Asphalt Milling And Approximately 425 Tons Of Hot Mix Asphalt Resurfacing And Other Incidental Items On Myrtle Avenue Extension From Brunswick Avenue To The End Of Myrtle Avenue. The Work On Myrtle Avenue Extension Is Being Funded By The Njdot Through A Local Aid Grant. The Work To Be Performed Under This Contract Also Includes An Alternate Bid For The Installation Of New Inlet Castings, Approximately 1,400 Square Yards Of Hot Mix Asphalt Milling And Approximately 200 Tons Of Hot Mix Asphalt Resurfacing And Other Incidental Items On Youngs Road From Edgerton Drive To Main Street. The Work On Youngs Road Is Being Funded By The Borough. All Bidders Must Bid On Both The Base Bid And The Alternate Bid. The Governing Body, If Electing To Award, Will Award The Base Bid Plus The Alternate Bid. Neither The Base Bid Or The Alternate Bid Will Be Awarded Separately. Each Bid Must Be Made On The Prescribed Forms Furnished With The Contract Drawings And Specifications, Including Non-collusion Affidavit, And Must Be Accompanied By A Consent Of Surety And A Certified Check, Cashier's Check Or Bid Bond Of Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent Of The Amount Bid, And Not To Exceed $20,000.00. Bids May Be Submitted By Mail, But Will Be Considered Only If Received On Or Before Such Date And Time.
