Site work and paving for a road / highway in Spencer, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes the following Work: The work generally includes mill & overlay, new asphalt pavement, and pavement markings. The Work will be substantially completed within 30 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 30 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $750.00 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Roane County Board of Education in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders must hold a current West Virginia contractor's license on the date of Bid Opening. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
