Site work for a water / sewer project in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of August 28, 2024 this project was awarded to Shrum Excavation Company, Inc. in the amount of $4,223,969.92. William Pogue Airport Sanitary Sewer. A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within the fifteen (15) days from and after the date the award is made. The performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds shall be for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids when such rejection is in the best interest of the City. All bids are received subject to this stipulation and the City reserves the right to decide which bid shall be deemed lowest and best. Question Deadline 08/02/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Owner in writing.
