**As of August 22, 2024 this project has awarded to Wadel stabilization for $302,059.30. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 0.405 Miles of HMA Surface Removal, Aggregate base conditioning, concrete curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk improvements for ADA compliance, storm sewer structure adjustments, HMA Paving, and permanent pavement markings. Document Notes: Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. Hard copy specifications are available for the fee of $50 dollars. A $15 dollar charge will be added to all mailed specifications. Fees are payable by cash or check only and are not refunded. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by local funds. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Hart in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of Sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. If submitting separate bids for each schedule only one bid surety will be required based on the Fall of 2024 schedule. COMPLETION DATE The project is intended to follow the following schedule: Substantial Completion: November 15, 2024 Final Completion: November 29, 2024 The Owner will consider an alternative schedule with the following completion dates: Substantial Completion: May 23, 2025 Final Completion: June 6, 2025 Contractor must provide indication of what schedule it proposes to complete the work on the proposal cover sheet. Bidders may submit bids for each schedule. The Owner will review the bids with both cost and schedule being considered and reserves the right to award based on either schedule. The contract will be written with the awarded schedule included. The Owner prefers completion during the fall of 2024.
